NMSU will have its first ever #GivingTuesday on December 1, 2015. On that day, gifts made to scholarship funds will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the NMSU foundation. The anthropology program at NMSU has two scholarship funds: the Indigenous Nations for Community Action Scholarship (INCA) and the Anthropology General Scholarship Fund. All money contributed to these funds goes directly to student scholarships. If you wish to make a contribution to either fund, please click either of the links below to be taken directly to the secure donation website for that specific fund. Write “Giving Tuesday” in the comment box to make it clear that you’re contributing as part of the #GivingTuesday event, and our students will receive twice as much through matching funds! Or, if you prefer to make donations by check, write the check out to one of the following scholarships and write “Giving Tuesday” in the note section of the check to make sure that the donation is matched.
- Indigenous Nations for Community Action Scholarship (INCA)
- Anthropology General Scholarship Fund
- If you prefer, you can also select an anthropology scholarship from the College of Arts & Sciences Giving Tuesday website.
While these are not eligible for matching funds, we also welcome donations to the anthropology program. If you have warm fuzzy feelings towards anthropology, wish to honor a favorite professor, acknowledge the accomplishments of our students and alumni, or give in memory of a faculty member who has passed away, we would be honored if you choose to send some green good wishes our way. Donations to the Friends of Anthropology fund provide general support to our program. We promise to use these funds wisely, to enhance the learning experiences of future generation of anthropology students. Whether you can help us with $10.00 or $10,000.00 please know that these gifts are truly appreciated. To make a donation to this fund, please click on the link below:
