The Anthropology Graduate Student Organization (GSO) is a department specific group that exists to promote NMSU involvement in community service and to aid graduate students in their academic and professional development. As a member of the GSO you are eligible to receive funding from various University sources which can be put toward your research, field schools and conference travel. The Anthropology GSO holds meetings once monthly, hosts a brown bag lecture each month, we provide you with information on community service opportunities, and we take a field trip each semester! Our GSO is one of the most active groups on campus and we are proud to continue the NMSU tradition of giving back to our community.
Annual dues are $15 and officer elections are held each year in April.
